ABOUT THE COPE CENTER FOR AUTISM
The Cope Center for Autism is a non-profit organization aimed at supporting autistic children and their families. We operate a medical practice accepting both commercial and NJ Medicaid insurance that evaluates children to determine if they meet the criteria for autism and provides follow-up care. Our team is there to support families and answer questions about autism treatment and services. In addition, we offer Unwind, an enrichment program for children on the autism spectrum.
ABOUT UNWIND AT THE COPE CENTER
Unwind at the Cope Center is an enrichment program designed to provide autistic children and their families opportunities to engage, explore interests, and build meaningful relationships in an accepting, neuro-affirming community.
Programs for Autistic Children
At Unwind, we believe in being the best you—not the best someone else. Every child deserves a space where they’re valued for who they are, not who they’re expected to be. We offer: after-school, school break and summer programs with coding, yoga, art, Lego robotics, hang out time and more; seasonal parties, girls night, and more.
Programs for Their Families
We offer Sibling Connection Groups and Parent Connection Circles for families of autistic children, recognizing that meaningful support must include both the child and the broader family system.
