Dr. Jennifer Cope

Dr. Jennifer Cope received her BA in biopsychology from Vassar College in 1991 and her medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center Brooklyn in 1995. She completed a pediatric residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 1997 and a pediatric neurology residency at Mount Sinai in 2000. She completed an epilepsy fellowship at NYU in 2001 under Dr. Orrin Devinsky.

Dr. Cope has cared for pediatric patients with neurological conditions at her private practice in Ridgewood, New Jersey, for over 20 years. She has expertise in epilepsy, autism and other developmental disorders, Tourette syndrome, ADHD, migraine, and concussion.

Dr. Cope has been recognized as a top doctor by her peers in New York Magazine, New Jersey Monthly and Inside New Jersey since 2012 and will appear as a “select specialist in pediatrics” in the September 2025 issue of New Jersey Monthly.

Dr. Cope is continuing her service toward children with autism and their families by founding the Cope Center for Autism. She is a proud dance mom and horse mom for her daughters and can be seen dancing herself at the Ridgewood High School Jamboree. She also loves Broadway musicals.
