Under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Jennifer Cope, will use accepted assessment tools to determine whether patients from 18-months to 3 years old with developmental delays meet criteria for autism spectrum disorder.  Patients will be referred for external hearing evaluations, EEG, genetic testing and other diagnostics as necessary.

Once you receive a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, you’ll be assigned a parent advocate and a free initial consultation. Parent advocates will be required to complete a certificate program through the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates, Inc (COPAA). Every child diagnosed with autism will be assigned to a personal advocate to help them along every step of their journey, from finding the best ABA and preschool programs, to accessing social security benefits, to what to do after high school graduation.  Advocates will have weekly meetings to share insights and victories, discuss difficult situations and  keep up with the latest trends.

Middle and high school students will have a safe, non-judgmental place to gather after school and participate in preferred activities with like minded-peers. They will have access to computers, coding programs, art supplies, Lego robotics. There will also be a lounge area with couches and a television. The supervision will be 2 teachers to 10 students.  We also plan to hold weekend events which will involve the whole family and provide parents with an opportunity to gather, relax and discuss pressing concerns.
